Hairography

I have always wanted a kid with curly hair.
Even before they were born I wished they would have tons of curls.
Paxton's hair came out stick straight.
Maebry's hair is pretty straight too, but after her baths,
just for a moment, she is the curly head child I will probably never get.
And I'm obsessed with it...

When it dries, it is straight again, but when it's wet I sit and play with all her curls.

She thinks I need to get over it.

Now, on to Paxton.
His hair was shorter than I like for his pictures.
Why? Because every time this kid gets a hair cut he acts like it's the end of the world.
I'm talking, sobbing, snotting, gagging, screaming.
He almost always throws up because he gags himself while crying.
So, every time I go to cut his hair, I almost always end up buzzing it.
This is because I never want to cut it again.
I dread it.

I sent Paxton with his Dad to the salon to get a haircut once.
I had high expectations.
I thought maybe if he saw Dad get a haircut too he would be ok with it.
Nope. Dad never wants to take him again.
Apparently he had a similar freak out in front of everyone there.

I've pretty much tried every thing me and Pinterest can think
of to make this a better experience.
I'm assuming this is something he will grow out of.
Until then, he will have either really long hair or hardly any hair!

Good thing he's so cute and it doesn't matter!

(Here is a pic of super long hair.)
