I just love this picture! Spencer is always asking "Can I hold him?" So I decided it would be a great picture opportunity. Aren't they just so handsome??

Nicknames...

So after we decided on Paxton's name I remember my friend asked me if we were going to call him Pax. My sassy reply was, "Well, if we wanted his name to be Pax we would have named him that. No, we will be calling him by his name." (Hormones? haha jk) However, now that Paxton is here I find that Ben and I have come up with a ton of nicknames for him. We don't really mean to, it just comes out and then sticks. Here are some of the things we lovingly call our baby boy.

(This is Ben's, and I have no idea how to spell it. He says it like pooh-coo-new-coo. Neither of us have any idea where he got this from, but it seems to be his favorite one.)

4 year anniversary!

Today, Ben and I have been married for 4 years! What a fantastic 4 years it has been! I was looking at my pictures today going through memories and decided to post some of the ones showing how much fun Ben and I have together.

I love that we can be nerdy together.

I love that we laugh all the time.

I love that we have added Paxton to the wonderfulness.

I love the support we give to each other.

I love knowing that I will be with him forever.

I love how we quote movie lines together.

I love that we love the same music.

I love that we would do anything for each other.

I love how we take care of each other.

I love that he loves me no matter what hair color I am...haha.

I just love being married to him.

Hairdo

So I got my hair chopped off again! Ever since I was all huge prego with Paxton I kinda 'let myself go' haha. I was in that phase of hair that isn't long and isn't short and isn't really any kind of hair style. It was just an awkward length and flat and boring. I also wore it up every single day because I hated it. Anyways, I told my friend who cut it that I wanted a version of my favorite hair cut I had previously. I am so happy with the way it turned out. It's pretty dang short, which scared me at first, but my friend assured me she cut it short so that I couldn't put it up. haha. I like me with short hair. Ben even said he really liked it! (He wasn't too happy the last time I chopped it off.) I told him it was fun and sassy. heh. Here is a picture of the new hair.

After the initial picture I felt awkward taking pictures of myself so I added a hot little baby boy to the mix. What a cutie! Who even wants to look at me with a baby like that in the pictures?! :)

My Sister

I really hadn't taken pictures in a while because of the whole pregnancy, having a baby thing. I did however, go with my sister Roxanne to take her senior pictures. Here are just a few of my favorites. She is beautiful!

It's pretty easy getting good pictures when have such a good model! Love her!

Cousins!

Paxton met his brand new cousin, Cosette Layne Benavides, last night. They are almost exactly 2 months apart. It was weird because everyone agreed that Paxton was the big baby now. My little boy is growing too fast :( He did look bigger next to her. It was fun to hold her and remember what Paxton was like only 2 months ago! Little Cosette actually weighed 6.14 when she was born which was exactly what Paxton weighed when he was born. We woke Paxton up from his deep sleep to take these pictures, and so he was not happy at first! He did calm down though and started pulling some adorable face. Notice beautiful little Cosette is just content with her pacifier.

They make such a cute little pair! It will be fun when they are able to acknowledge each other. For now we will just lay them next to each other and take a ton of pictures! :)
