Mother's Day/ Blessing

May 9th was an exciting day for the Benavides family!

Not only was it my first Mother's Day being a mom, but we blessed baby Paxton at church as well. Ben and I also spoke in church which pretty much made it the 'Benavides Show' in Sacrament meeting. Here are some pictures of everyone right after the meeting.

Now, why can't you see Paxton's blessing outfit, you ask? Well, immediately after the meeting Paxton had a major blow-out of poop all over his cute little shorts. Yes, poo everywhere. (That includes my skirt!) That is seriously the LAST time I will make the mistake of using Huggies. I swear, every time I use Huggies they just can't handle the blow-outs that Paxton has. Anyways, so Paxton pooed all over his adorable outfit before I could even take a picture of him in it! Well, I put some pants on him and wrapped a blanket around him. After the pictures I fed Paxton and he threw up all over the top part of the outfit. haha. So typical. I did get a picture of the outfit on my phone that I sent to Ben to show him what Grandma B and I picked out. It was so adorable!

So, with one Mother's Day outfit down, we put him in this cute little outfit.

I think it was very appropriate.

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day, and I am so extremely lucky to be Paxton's mom.

This last picture made Ben and I laugh forever! It really looks like he is hitting himself in the face. Man, he's cute. haha.
