Well, it's official!!
This little gal sleeps in her own bed :) in her own room :)
It has only been two nights, but she has done absolutely fabulous!
She was sleeping with Mommy every night so it was bittersweet to send her off on her own.
I miss having her there to cuddle and love on.
I don't miss how much room she took up when she sprawled out!
We did the transition slowly to make it easier on her.
She started taking naps in her own bed before we tried all night.
I'm not gonna lie, I had anxiety about it.
I kept changing my mind about if I was ready for her to leave me!
She wasn't a fan of it at first, and she woke up a lot looking for me.
Now she goes right to sleep when I put her down.
It has also given me a lot of time back.
She doesn't rely on me to sleep, so I can just put her in the bed,
and leave the room to get other things done.
I kicked Paxton out of my bed at three months as well.
I just feel like three months is the magic age when babies get easier.
She doesn't wake up as much to eat, so having her in another room isn't hard.
She has done an amazing job, and it has made life a little easier around here.
It also means the newborn baby phase is over :(
That realization was definitely part of my anxiety over the whole thing.
I'm also pretty sure this girlie might be a thumb sucker.
Almost every time I check on her, while she's sleeping, she has her hand in her mouth.
All in all, I feel like this transition is better for both of us.
More sleep, better quality of sleep, and more time for Mama to spend with Brother or Dad!
