Seven Months Maebry

Our little gal is seven months old now!
Time sure is flying!

I tried taking some seven month pictures today, but she was not having any of it.
I will definitely try again, but for now, I wanted to post about her being seven months.
I was looking at pictures of Pax Man at this age,
and he was able to sit unassisted, push himself up on all fours,
and was even crawling by the end of his seventh month.
In his eighth month he was pulling up to stand.
Now, you aren't supposed to compare kids....but Maebry isn't even close.
That isn't a bad thing. They are just different kids!
Paxton really did make finding ways of getting around his full time job.
Maebry scoots around on her tummy, but doesn't lift up on all fours.
She can sit up if something is supporting her back, and we are working on her leg strength.

Maebry's full time job lately has been sleeping!
I feel like she is about to grow so much, because it seems like she is always asleep.
She takes long naps, and eats a ton! Here comes a growth spurt!
By seven months, Paxton had two teeth. Maebry's first one just popped up yesterday!

Another difference between the two is how they fall asleep.
Paxton always used me to fall asleep. I would feed him until he dozed off.
Maebry will eat and then want to be put in her bed.
As soon as I put her to bed, she rolls on her side and sticks her thumb in her mouth.
She just wants her bed, blanket, ocean waves, and her thumb!
I sure love that about her.
She is easy to put down, and she puts herself to sleep.
I definitely love her thumb sucking!

I still call her Maebs more than anything, and Ben mostly calls her Tinks.
She loves being outside, watching her brother, swinging, and laughing.
Her favorite toys are my squishy spatulas. She loves to chew on them.

She grabs everything. I can't hold her and get anything done!
She grabs anything I put in my hands.
I was trying to eat food the other day, and her little ninja grasp
got my food before I could even get it in my mouth.
Paxton isn't too fond of this talent.
He is now learning that we have to share our toys with our sister.
Bummer Pax.
I still haven't really tried giving her a ton of different kinds of baby food.
I'm not really in a hurry.
She does like the baby oatmeal and bananas so far though.
That is all I can think of at the moment!

We feel so blessed every day that this little gal joined our family.
She is getting to be so fun!

My next post will probably be about Paxton.
He has some big changes going on in his life!
Hopefully I will get on that soon!
