Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial Day. Paxton spent a lot of time at parks. At 9:00 that morning we headed over to the park for our church's 5K run. In order to run you brought canned food for the food bank. Paxton started out asleep in his stroller, but that didn't last very long. He was very happy though. He loves being outside. Here he is in his little hat :) I was able to keep him in the shade for most of the time, and there was a nice breeze so we didn't get too hot.

For the rest of the time I took him out and carried him around in my wrap. He is quite the popular little man. Someone said, "Do you have any idea that you have the cutest baby on the planet?! We try to sit close to you guys every Sunday hoping you will pass him to us so we can hold him. We just watch him the whole time trying to get his attention." That makes me so proud of my little boy :) And yes, I am aware he is the cutest baby on the planet.

Later that day Ben came home from work, and we went to our ward picnic for church at another park. My family brought us grilled chicken, and we just hung out on blankets and chatted with everyone. Paxton wasn't as happy about this park visit. He was worn out and ended up just falling asleep. Here he is with his Dada in their hats.
He was tired after his long day. I just love using my wrap.
