Birthday Stuff

Ok, so Ben and I celebrated my birthday on the actual day, but I spent the next day with family, so I said I had 2 birthdays :) Here is what we did:

Birthday #1

Ben, Paxton, and I had Carinos and then went to Spoonful for the first time. This is all the rage here lately, and I felt like I was the only one who hadn't gone. It is yogurt that you can serve yourself. You get as much as you want and as many toppings as you want. Here is what I ended up with. It was yummy. (Ben got boring yogurt so I didn't take a picture of his, haha)

Paxton is so interested in what is going on around him now. I love taking him out of his seat when we go places and just watching him take everything in. It will be fun when he can actually taste the yogurt too.

My birthday present from Ben was a Nook. It is the Barnes and Noble e-book reader. I absolutely LOVE it. I am so glad Ben had such a great idea. We took this awkward picture to show that I also got the bright green back for it.
Here I am with my two new favorite things :) haha.
We thought we would have Paxton be Vanna and show it off cause he makes every picture better.

Birthday #2

I decided I wanted to do a little shopping for clothes for my birthday so we went a few places. I ended up just getting another cardigan (of course) and Paxton some flip flops! Paxton never wore shoes before this (just socks), and I decided he was old enough to wear some summer flip flops. They are so stinking cute.

After shopping we went over to the Benavides house to see everyone. We just couldn't resist taking more pictures of Paxton and his cousin Cosette. They are just adorable, and they look great together.

This picture cracks me up. Paxton is like "whoa!" Like he's never cried before...what he doesn't know is that mommy makes that same face sometimes when he cries. haha.

Friends :)
Not the greatest picture of me, but I love it cause I'm with Cosette. I'm a good tia :)

After the Benavides, we went to the Shumway house to have my brownie ice cream cake. I just love Paxton's face in this picture!

Me and my boy :) He made my birthday so much better this year.

A family picture. Don't I have a handsome husband??

These next pictures make me laugh. Spencer (my nephew) has so much energy. He was cracking me up. Here he is trying to blow out my candles too early. Me and Paxton don't look to happy about it. lol.

Here is Spencer helping me blow out the candles when it was the right time.

And here he is fanning people with the paper plate. Yes, he whacked me in the face with it. Man I love him :)
Best nephew ever.

After cake and presents my Dad went and bought my two sisters and my Mom Nooks! I brought mine over to show them, and we were giving my Dad a hard time about not buying one for my Mom. So he left and came back with 3! It was exciting cause now we can all share books. So we had a Nook party and set them all up, and got books for them. While all the girls (and Ben, who was helping my Mom) were inside, I found Paxton with Pa outside. Paxton loves being outside, and he was just so happy and content with his Pa. I love this picture.
Here they are watching the fountain in Pa's yard.

Later that night we put Paxton in his new sleeper. It is my favorite item of clothing he has right now. He looks so cute in it, and of course I am all about elephants! I love this picture too. These two boys just make my life so happy. I love them :)

So I had two great birthdays! I don't need anything fancy. I just need family and yogurt!
