It's true. Sweet little Maebry is already half a year old!
I can't believe it!
I admit that I still have been telling people she is five months old when they ask.
I can't seem to say it out loud.
One thing is true though, she gets prettier all the time :)
She is still such a happy, laid back baby.
She has been a little grouchy lately because of the teething thing.
She hasn't cut any teeth yet, but they are on their way!
Her Dr. said she will probably get a lot of teeth all at the same time.
(Paxton got his first tooth at four months.)
She is pretty much the drool queen.
Maebry is a very vocal baby.
She loves to squeal in a very high pitched "girly" kinda way.
It can get pretty loud and intense!
Her favorite toy is a pink panda bear with teething hands and feet.
Her favorite way to sleep is on her side, with a blankie, and her thumb in her mouth.
She also likes to hear ocean waves while she sleeps.
Her favorite baby food is green beans....well that is the only kind she's had so far.
She does love it though.
(Paxton hated all veggie baby food from the beginning!)
She has gone from being in the 90th percentile height to the 50th.
Her weight is now in the 10th percentile which is so typical of my babies.
Just when I think they are going to be so chunky, they slim down.
People have been telling me she looks small for her age.
I'll take it. Less to carry around every where!
She is a pro at rolling and has even started showing the first signs of wanting to crawl.
Maebry is still obsessed with her brother Paxton.
He had a calming effect on her.
She will stop crying to watch what big brother is doing!
Nicknames: Maebs, Tink (Dada's nickname), and Bee Bee.
(We are big on nicknames around here. They change often.)
What a wonderful six months it has been with Maebry in the family!
Six months is one of my favorite stages. She is more fun every day!
We sure do love our little Maebry!
