Happy October 1st!

Happy October 1st!!

No, it's not a holiday, but I have been waiting for October.
It's the month of Halloween, pumpkins, fallish things, and (fingers crossed) cooler weather.
I made some Halloween outfits for the kiddos a little earlier this year.
I wanted to get them done so they could have time to wear them more than once!

Ben and I took the kiddos to a pumpkin patch yesterday evening to get some pictures.
I also decided that we definitely needed some pumpkins.

This was such a cute little pumpkin patch.
Paxton was pretty excited to see all the different kinds of pumpkins.
He ran around looking at all of them.
(I knew we had him hooked the second he realized it was something to do outside!)

He even picked out his very own pumpkin!

Maebry just tried to eat hay the whole time. Haha.

That's OK though, because her main job was to sit there and look cute.
And as usual, she nailed it. :)

I cannot, for the life of me, get both kids to smile at the same time.
There was just way too much fun to be had.
Both kids were just so mesmerized by everything around them.
I love watching them experience new things.

I'm thinking she better wear this outfit every day in October to make up for the time it took to sew ;)
Only kidding, it was a fun one to make.

What a handsome little man.

And a pretty little gal.

We ended up getting two pumpkins.
Paxton picked out one, and I picked out a fun warty one.

I'm looking forward to way more pumpkins and Halloween themes now that it's October!
