New Things in the New Year.

So let's see...what is new with the Benavides family?

Pax Man
Paxton is almost 10 months old now. He crawls everywhere. All the time. He pulls up on everything, and he has even started walking using his push toys. He is crazy fun. I love his personality. He is old enough now to play with me, and I enjoy it so much! We have also been taking one or two bike rides a day now. I love that time with him. I look forward to our rides.
He is really tall and skinny, he has tons of hair, and he has 5 (soon to be 6) teeth.
The other day I was trying to teach him the word tongue, and I would show him by sticking out mine. Now all he does is stick out his tongue. He crawls around and plays with his tongue sticking out. I blame myself for that. haha.
(Here he is on Christmas playing with his new toy. Notice the tongue and the drool it creates.)

Me

I have been working one night a week @ the job I had before I had Paxton, in the ICU at the hospital. I like it because Paxton goes to bed before I go to work and wakes up when I get home. That way I don't miss anything.
Ben and I bought our first house :):) Maybe some day I will post pictures. We have put a lot of work into painting and decorating it. I never thought I would enjoy decorating so much, but I do.
If you've read my craft blog (http://www.thisisdrasticfantastic.blogspot.com/) you know that I am obsessed with making hats for Paxton, and I recently threw my first party at our house. That's what is new with me!

Ben

Is still working away at the store and still loving it. He was very busy this holiday season, but just got four days off to spend with Me and Paxton. The party I threw at our house was in his honor. He always says that I don't care enough about sports, and so I threw a football bowl party. The party was jokingly called the "Florida Gators" party because that was the team that played his favorite, Penn State. I made Florida shirts for Me and Paxton, made him a hat, and the decorations and food were orange and blue. It was a lot of fun. I didn't really watch the game, but made sure there were men there to watch with Ben.
(Me and Paxton in our Gator colors!)

This past year was wonderful, stressful, fabulous, trying, amazing, full of new things, and unforgettable. Here is to 2011!! Yay!
