Big Boy Stuff

So I'm trying to catch up on blogging and MAYBE do a post a day.
Here are some pictures that prove just what a big boy Paxton is nowadays...
I decided to try out a booster seat when I went to lunch with my sister.
I figured it would help him get better at sitting up.
He didn't last the whole time we ate, but he loved it.
He put his hands on the table like he was ready to eat.
While we were at my sister's house to watch the game,
Paxton and I went to play in his cousin Spencer's room.
He even got to sit in Spencer's big boy rocking chair.
Is that not the cutest thing ever?
Here is Paxton riding like a big boy in his stroller.
He has been riding this way for a while,
but now that I mall walk he gets to do it for longer periods of time.
I usually walk for about an hour, and he was so happy the whole time.
When he was in his stroller the baby way he never lasted that long.
He just likes to see whats going on!
(He is wearing the baby leg warmers I made him.)

My baby is already working on tooth #2!
He got a lower one last month and is about to get the other lower one some time soon.
Paxton is usually just the happiest baby, but this tooth thing gives him hard times.
The other night he was very fussy, and I was trying to think of ways to cheer him up.
I finally remembered something my sisters and I used to do with
our brother Preston when we were little.
So, I put a pillow in our laundry basket, tied a blanket around it,
and pulled Paxton around the house in the basket.
I really didn't get huge smiles from it, but he stopped being upset and just enjoyed the ride.
It was so cute how he was totally content being pulled around.

At first Ben was making fun of me and saying,
"Ummm....What the heck are you doing putting my kid in a laundry basket?"
But after he saw that it worked like a charm, he wanted to pull Paxton around too. haha.

Mom knows what she it doing Dad!

Although it is tough seeing my little baby growing up, it is also fun seeing the new things Paxton gets to learn and do. This month we get to start eating veggies! We will see how it goes!
